Peacefully, Ed passed away on April 11 ,2026. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Kathy. He is survived by his children Chris (Lolita), Julie, Andrea (Brett) and Marni (Bryan). He leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ed enjoyed travelling, cheering for his beloved Bombers, participating in Rotary, and loved discussing politics. He was also actively involved in the Liberal Party. He spent much time playing cards, enjoying downhill skiing and golf, and cherishing moments with friends and family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Calvary Place for their care in his final years.
Celebration of life will take place Wednesday April 22, 2026, at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre on 3030 Notre Dame Avenue at 1:00 p.m.
Remembrances can be made through contributions to the Winnipeg-Assiniboine Rotary Club.
